  1. Fantastic article! It’s amazing that this is also a guest post for Schwarzenegger as well! One thing I’ve learned in my training is, the more you obsess about something, whether it be hitting a specific weight on a lift, or losing pounds of body fat. The more you think and obsess about it. the harder it is to reach your goals. When you are able to forget about the end goal and enjoy the process you are in now, then the results come. I remember when I didn’t hit the weight I wanted on the incline press, when I didn’t I became very stressed and frustrated, and this effected me on the workouts to come as well! Just let go and enjoy the process! Great article and keep up the great work!

    Enjoy the journey and forget about the destination.

    I agree that goals can be useful, but they can also be a pain in the butt. If you focus too much on reaching a certain goal weight or arm size by a specific date, you will be disappointed.

    Just learn to have fun, love your body, and enjoy the changes as they come.
